Frequently asked questions
Which rendering profile should I use?
HTMX-SSR for content-heavy sites: server-rendered HTML, no WebAssembly build. Leptos hydration for interface-heavy pages that need instant local feedback. The profile is chosen per route, so one site can mix both.
Can several sites share one server binary?
Yes. A thin site runs a shared, content-agnostic server and brings only its configuration, templates and content — this site is one of them.
Where is the source?
The framework — crates, templates and the site generator — lives in the source repository linked on this page.
Is it ready for production?
Rustelo is in beta, at version 0.1.0. It already serves sites in production, this one included; the public API of the ports is the part still being stabilised.
